Our Work
1. 2023 Palestine Emergency
As the world bears witness to the harrowing violence inflicted upon innocent civilians, we are facing a catastrophic humanitarian crisis of immense proportions. Thousands of Palestinian civilians have lost their lives, suffered injuries, or been internally displaced.
With Humanitet it is our solemn duty to respond swiftly and effectively. Currently, the Rafah border crossing is open, but the number of aid trucks granted access to Gaza is alarmingly insufficient to meet the desperate needs of the people.
We are on the ground, working closely with local partners from Egypt to find innovative ways to provide the support that Palestinians urgently require. Together with our dedicated collaborators, we remain committed to ensuring that life-saving aid reaches those who need it most.
Today, we urgently request your support. Please give what you can through our donation link. Your contribution will help bring hope and relief to those affected by this crisis. Thank you for your generosity.

2. 2023 Morocco Earthquake
On September 8th, 2023, a devastating earthquake struck Morocco, leaving more than 3,000 lives lost and thousands displaced. Humanitet is on the ground, providing generators, shelter materials, and temporary shelters. But many families face a harsh winter without adequate heating. We need your support to deliver portable heaters and ensure their warmth and comfort.
Your donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Join our Morocco Appeal and donate today. Together, we can rebuild lives, offer hope, and a brighter future to those affected by this disaster. Thank you for your generosity.

3. 2023 Turkey
The Turkey - Syria Earthquake saw the loss of over 50,000 lives and left more than 1.5 million people homeless in Turkey alone. Coordinating relief efforts in a dangerous procession of after shocks, with little resources, we continue to support the Antakya region of Turkey, with Safe Drinking Water for 2000 families, Temporary Shelter aiding 220 displaced people, beds for 30 staff members and shelter at the only functioning hospital in Antakya; Mosaic Hospital.

4. 2023 Ukraine
Ukraine: providing two lorry containers of safe drinking water to Mykolaiv weekly, providing 25,000 litres of safe drinking water in each lorry for 800 - 1000 people.
Transport of eight Ukrainian families from the Polish border crossing from Ukraine, to Warsaw for their continuing journey.
Provided logistical support between four hospitals in Lviv Ukraine and the main distribution hub.
Provided hygiene and sanitation packs for two hospitals in Lviv Ukraine. Two maternity hospitals caring for 700 babies and one local community hospital.
In January 2023 – In the peak of winter, at freezing temperatures we hand delivered generators to underground bunkers sheltering the elderly and disabled left in Kherson, Ukraine. Due to a shortage of generators available across Europe, the generators were transported from the UK to Ukraine. The Winter Aid Project, also provided the delivery of winter wear, blankets, coats and the continuation of the Water Project providing safe drinking water in Mykolaiv.

5. 2021 Poland/Belarus
Aiding refugees from the Middle East, who were caught between the Belarus / Poland border. These people were trapped in freezing conditions, in swamp land, and were being pushed back illegally by the Polish border police and the Belarus border patrol. They were left without food / shelter. We teamed with Grupa Granica (a local grassroots activist charity) and patrolled the marsh land to bring those who may be injured, or sadly passed away out of the marsh land.

6. 2021 India -Covid Emergency Response
In a time of severe shortages Humanitet sourced and provided 20 oxygen concentrators to Jalandhar Civil hospital India during the Covid-19 Delta variant pandemic. Provided 30 pulse oximeters, 20 nebulisers, 8,000 surgical masks, 500 KN95 masks and 70 boxes of nitrile gloves to Jalandhar Civil hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic.

7. 2020 Lebanon
Coordinated the safe removal of 1700 migrant workers kept in modern slavery conditions. Provided £6,000 aid in the form of mobility aids / incontinence pads / nappies (sanitary packs) for the Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon who had not received any assistance after the Beirut blast.
Provided £5,000 PPE and hygiene packs for hospitals and mobile health clinics after the Beirut blast.

8. 2020 Djibouti
Focusing on the Marghazi refugee camp, providing mobility aids and sanitary products to some of the most in-need residents.

9. 2019 Greece, Chios
In 2019 thousands of people continued to live in camps on Greek Islands as refugees displaced from Syria, Afghanistan, the Middle East and Africa. Humanitet visited Chios with funds raised to assist refugees stuck on the island. The initial plan was to help respond to ‘landings’ and assist Chios Eastern Shore Rescue Team (CERST) with supplies needed for their work supporting refugees at Vial Camp – an official refugee camp on the island run by the Greek Authority. Once in Chios we discovered there was more we could do as well as landings. We decided Humanitet focus on others areas in helping those stuck on the island. After speaking to other organisations which were working inside Vial it was evident that best way to use our donations was to purchase mobility aids for people with physical disabilities as there is a chronic shortage of walking aids and wheelchairs.
