We’re Kanwar and Jaspreet; a husband-and-wife team with a shared heart for humanity and a deep belief in showing up where it matters most.
Humanitet is a global disaster relief organisation committed to providing immediate and long-term support to communities affected by natural and man-made disasters. Founded on the principles of compassion, integrity, and resilience, we strive to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity in the face of adversity.
We aren’t a large organisation. We’re a small, nimble charity built on friendship, compassion, and a lifetime of hands-on experience in disaster zones.
We work alongside grassroots organisations, local volunteers, and kind humans who just want to do good. Together, we respond to conflict, crisis, and disaster — not with red tape, but with direct aid and a human touch
Meet Kanwar: Global Disaster Responder
For over a decade, Kanwar has worked on the frontlines of disaster zones — from earthquake aftermaths and refugee camps to war-torn cities and remote villages. He’s managed global aid missions, built friendships in the harshest places, and always kept humanity at the centre of his work.
Even after leaving the formal charity sector, Kanwar couldn’t walk away from his calling. Helping people isn’t a job for him, it’s who he is. He’s built a life around compassion, connection, and showing up when the world breaks.
Meet Jaspreet: Pharmacist & Therapist With a Heart for Healing
Jaspreet is a Clinical Pharmacist and Somatic Therapist who’s worked for nearly two decades helping people heal, not just with medicine, but with deep nervous system support and trauma-informed care.
When she met Kanwar, she saw the quiet fire in his eyes — the determination to keep helping people no matter what. And she said yes to him, and to the shared dream of taking their love for people global. Together, they turned that dream into Humanitet.

We’ve seen what it means to lose everything. We’ve stood in bomb shelters, held shivering hands, and listened to stories no one should have to tell. We believe every human deserves dignity, even in disaster. We’re not here to scale. We’re here to show up, again and again, with backpacks, trusted partners, and the support of people like you.
Our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers work tirelessly to deliver essential aid — water, clothes, shelter, and more — to those who need it most. We’re not just here for the moment of crisis; we also focus on rebuilding and strengthening communities so they are better prepared for future challenges. Every act of support matters, and together, we make recovery possible.

Where We Are Based
Our headquarters are based in London, UK but the Humanitet family is a global effort reaching far beyond even Europe. We believe in helping people in need as soon as possible which is why we are constantly moving, from India, to Lebanon, to Ukraine, to Gaza we are constantly trying to reach out to those in need beyond our home turf.

Global Digital Equity
Global Digital Equity is a social enterprise that aims to close the digital divide and assist overlooked communities throughout the UK in enhancing their quality of life, mental health, and employability through digital and financial literacy training. Our focus is on overlooked and underestimated communities including refugees, asylum seekers and ex-offenders. In 2024, it is projected that the smartphone user penetration rate will reach 88% of the UK population. With this in mind, our curriculum is designed to help individuals get the most out of their mobile device and ensure sustainability in their learning.
